Mindfulness of Breath !! What is mediation ?Mediation mean worship or prayer? But it is not so.
Meditation means awareness.Meditation-Mindfulness of Breath.

The word meditation is derived from two Latin words- meditari “to think, to dwell upon, to exercise the mind” and mederi “to heal”. Its Sanskrit derivation ‘medha’ means wisdom.
Many years ago meditation was considered something just not meant for modern people, but now it has become very popular with all types of human being or people. Published scientific and medical evidence has proved its lot of benefits, but it still needs to be much understood about meditation.

Whatever you do with awareness is meditation. “Watching your breath is meditation; listening to the birds is meditation. As long as these activities are free from any other distraction to the mind, it is effective meditation.Meditation begins when we allow our bodies and minds to relax deeply , which we do by experiencing the feeling that comes from simply relaxing, without even having told ourselves to do so. When we let everything be just as it is and listen to the silence within our minds .This becomes meditation. When we simply remain silent within the moment ,without grasping for security, without trying to find out our problems all that remains is awareness….

Meditation  a way of life

Meditation is not a technique but a way of life. Meditation means ‘an end of the thought process’ . It describes a state of consciousness. when the mind is free of scattered thoughts and various patterns . The observer realizes that all the activity of the mind is reduced to one thing

Body and breath are the foundation of our being, the basis for relaxation and meditation.
Observe the flow of the breath. The breath is entering and leaving the body. Eventually, it will find its own natural rhythm just by being still. Don’t evaluate or report: just notice.
Notice if the breath is shallow or deep, how deeply it moves into the chest, and the way the diaphragm is moving to accommodate the flow of air.

Traditionally, the classical yoga , describe that to attain true states of meditation one must go through several stages. After the necessary preparation of personal and social code, relaxation , breath control, physical position,come to the most advanced stages of concentration. But that does not mean that one must perfect any one stage before moving onto the next.

Witness the flow of the breath,When energy flows smoothly through the body, through the vital organs, you feel energized and happiness you self , the mind is clear, nerves are poised for transmitting signals, and muscles are ready for movement. The mind also bests responds and becomes more cooperative. As thoughts become less impulsive and demanding, you can sustain focus and concentration and direct your energy in a more open, relaxed manner.
